The idea behind HARLI

Understand the business. Then do the work.

HARLI is an AI app in development for people who have started a business and want customers. We’re building it to help you understand your market, choose a direction and carry that understanding into your offer, marketing, website and sales work.

This is the approach we’re building toward. HARLI is not available to use yet, and the first release’s features and timing are still being decided.

Start with where you are.

You might have a product, a website or an idea you’ve already put months into. You might arrive with a question as small as, “What should I put in this ad?”

We want HARLI to understand what you’re trying to build, what you’ve tried and where you’re stuck. You bring the details of your business, your constraints and the decisions you need help making.

Work out what the customer is choosing.

Who might buy? What matters to them? What do they use today? Why would they switch to you?

The aim is to bring useful questions, research and recommendations into that conversation. To separate what you know from what you’re assuming, and make the tradeoffs easier to understand. Sometimes that means finding the question underneath the one you came in with.

Choose a direction you understand.

A direction connects a particular customer with a reason to choose your business. It should help you decide which part of the market to focus on, what to offer and how to explain its value.

You make the final decisions. We want the reasoning to be clear enough that you can explain why a next step makes sense and what still needs to be tested.

Carry it into the actual work.

That understanding should shape the headline on your website, the product details you show, the campaign you prepare and the people you approach.

We’re building toward practical help with those steps, with the business context and reasons behind each choice kept together. The exact tools and first-release capabilities are still being worked out.

See a hypothetical bag business go from a customer question to a clearer product page.

Come back with what happened.

A plan gives you something to try. The response gives you something to learn from.

Bring back the questions, objections and results. The intended experience is to work through what they mean, revise the direction when needed and keep that learning available for the next decision.
